The term “Dot Mills Ltd” or “Fab Ties” or “us” or “we” refers to the owner of the website. Fab Ties is a trading company of Dot Mills Ltd, a company incorporated in England & Wales with company number 8459473.
The term “you” refers to the user or viewer of our website.
1. The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.

Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.
3. Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.

Formation of a Contract and Availability of Goods
When buying goods or services on the Internet you are entering a legally binding contract. This will come into effect upon you receiving an email confirming your order.
Fab Ties cannot guarantee that all the goods on the website will be available. We will however inform you by email if we cannot fulfil your entire order and only charge for the goods that we send to you.
Payment is by credit or debit card only and all orders are processed on a secure server. All prices are in UK Pounds unless you select a different currency. Your card will be charged in UK Pounds regardless of the currency you choose to view prices in. If any customs or other charges are payable, this will be payable by the recipient of the order and Fab Ties shall have no responsibility for any such charges.
Although stock levels are updated automatically as products are added and removed, the stock level figure should be taken as an indication of available stock only, and not as a guarantee that item is in stock or fit for sale. In circumstances where it is not possible to despatch an order due to incorrect stock levels, damaged goods or other stock issues, Fab Ties will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to provide alternative options.
Special Offers / Sales / Free Gift Offers
Prices for products listed as a Special Offer, On Sale or any other reduced price or free gift offers or any other offers are valid as long as stocks last or as long as Fab Ties decides and can be withdrawn at any time without notice. Requests for sale or reduced prices after a sale has finished will not be considered. Free gift offers apply while stocks last. One free gift per customer that places an order containing a product from the specified category. Choice of gift is not available, and offer can be withdrawn at any time without notice. Free Delivery offers apply to UK Standard 2nd Class post only unless otherwise stated.
Facebook, Twitter, Recommend A Friend and Product Review prize draws: Winners are chosen at random. Only one winner is selected from all entries. The winner will be notified by email or through their relevant profile. No purchase is necessary. The Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered in to.
Discounts / Vouchers
Discount codes and gift vouchers can only be claimed online, and must be entered at time of checkout. Discounts and gift vouchers cannot be applied retrospectively, and cannot be claimed after an order has been submitted online or otherwise. Only one discount or gift voucher can be used per purchase / per customer, and cannot be used with any other discounts or vouchers, including but not limited to quantity discounts. Discount codes and other offers can be withdrawn at any time without notice. Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from date of purchase unless otherwise stated, and cannot be exchanged for cash. Discounts are only valid for the amount paid; discount codes offering discounts greater than the amount paid will only be valid for the amount paid, and no additional discount will be provided. Please see the Returns and Refunds section for more information.
Most orders are despatched within 2 working days.
Free UK Delivery on all orders! No minimum order. Free delivery is equivalent to UK Royal Mails 2nd Class post. (3-4 working days)
UK 1st Class (2-3 working days): 1st Class delivery to the UK is £1.99.
Non-UK Shipping: Additional shipping charges apply to countries outside the UK. Shipping charges are calculated according to the weight of the item and can be selected when adding items to your shopping cart. Orders are sent by Royal Mail Standard Airmail and usually arrive within 14 days (excluding weekends and bank holidays) from despatch. Orders sent Express usually arrive within 7 days (excluding weekends and bank holidays). Please note that Airmail Delivery charges are non-refundable if an order is returned. All international delivery times are subject to your country's postal system and customs. Please see the Returns section for important information about Returns and delivery charges. Please note that if your country is not listed as a shipping destination we are unable to ship to that country.
We aim to despatch orders within 2 working days once the order is complete (excluding Bank Holidays and Weekends), but delivery time is subject to Royal Mail and despatch time is not guaranteed. We cannot be held responsible for Royal Mail strikes or other action that may affect delivery time.
Delivery Addresses: If you select a different delivery address to the billing address (i.e. the address where your card statements are sent to), the delivery address will need to be verified separately. This may in some cases delay your order and in some cases your order will not be delivered to an address other than the billing address, or may be cancelled if we are unable to contact you at the billing address. You will not be compensated for any delays caused by using a delivery address that's different to the billing address.
Most orders fit through a normal letterbox, however if you have ordered more than 3 ties the package will be larger and there should be someone at the delivery address to receive the delivery or a re-delivery may have to be arranged and you will be responsible for any extra charges as a result.
All orders are posted in mail bags to protect them from damage. Orders of 1 or 2 ties will normally fit through a standard letterbox. Most of our ties are also enclosed in clear plastic/cellophane sleeves, this is not part of the standard packaging.
Formation of a Contract and Non-acceptance of an order
A contract will only be formed when Fab Ties manually confirms your order by email or when your order is despatched. Receipt of an automatic email when placing your order or paying online does not constitute a contract and cannot be considered binding.
Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:
The product you ordered being damaged or unavailable from stock.
Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment.
Our inability to confirm your order or order details within 48 hours of the order being placed.
Our inability to contact you by phone or email using the information provided in your order.
Our inability to verify your billing or delivery address.
Failure to complete or provide relevant card security information.
Any discrepancies in your order, including but not limited to, different billing and delivery details.
The identification of a pricing or product description error.
You not meeting the eligibility to order criteria set out in the Terms and Conditions.
Cancellations, Returns and Refunds
If you wish to return or exchange an item see our Returns Page. Requests for refunds/returns must be made within 5 days of delivery, late returns will not be considered, however some allowance will be made in the event of Royal Mail strikes or other action which may prevent goods returned in time. Goods should be received by Fab Ties within 30 days of notification of intent to return. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the person returning the order. It is recommended that you return your goods using Recorded Delivery, Next Day or other tracked delivery service, delivery charges are non-refundable.
If you wish to cancel your order, you should contact us as soon as possible after ordering and we will cancel your order and refund any payments you have made. If your order has already been despatched you will need to follow the returns procedure above, unless it is within 7 days of receiving your order, in which case you may cancel your order (UK only) under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000). To cancel your order under these regulations, you will need to inform us in writing (by email) that you wish to cancel your order, within 7 days of receipt of your order. We will then refund you in full within 30 days however you will still be responsible for returning the goods at your own cost, and ensuring the goods are in their original condition. If you fail to return the goods within 30 days of cancelling your order, we will arrange to collect the order and you will charged for any costs incurred.
Refunds will be made back to the debit or credit card used for the original order within 30 days of cancellation or return of the order. Delivery charges are non-refundable unless the order is cancelled as above, or through any other fault of Fab Ties. Return postage costs will only be refunded if the return is due to an error of Fab Ties and if a receipt for the postage is included with the returned product, and only for Royal Mail 1st or 2nd Class postage. In such cases if a full refund plus the return postage is required, it will not be possible to refund more than the original purchase price, and postage costs will be provided instead as a Fab Ties gift certificate or discount voucher which will be valid for 6 months. In the event the goods are not returned and Fab Ties is required to recover the goods, we will charge you for any costs incurred for such recoveries. We reserve the right to limit the amount of times an order or item can be returned or exchanged. These returns procedures do not affect your statutory rights.
Discounts & Charges: If you have received a quantity discount as a result of a bulk purchase or any other similar offer, and have returned part of the order for a refund, the discount originally received will be readjusted based on the number of products retained or other terms of the original discount, and any refunds will be subject to these adjusted discounts. Fab Ties is not responsible for any customs charges, bank charges or any other charges incurred by you as part of a transaction and will not reimburse any such charges.
Any returned products must be in the original packaging, and the goods should not have been used or damaged in any way. Any returns that do not comply with these requirements will not be refunded. The address for returns will be send once a returns notification has been accepted.
If you're not sure whether the colour or type of tie you see on your screen is what you want, you can order it anyway and if it's not right you can return it within 30 days for a refund. This is especially useful if you are looking for a specific colour or shade for a wedding, allowing you the opportunity to compare the tie with colour swatches or bridesmaid dresses.
While Fab Ties seeks to provide clear and accurate information on this website and in our newsletter, Fab Ties neither makes nor gives representations or warranties, express or implied, about the website or the newsletter (and any information on it or hypertext links), including as to accuracy, completeness, suitability for purpose, availability, legibility, speed of download or access, or timeliness. Fab Ties shall not be liable for any damages arising directly or indirectly in contract, tort or otherwise, from the use of or inability to use this website or the newsletter (or any hypertext links to or from this website), or any information contained in the website (or any other website to which hypertext links to or from the website may exist), or from any advice or recommendations given on this website or in any other way, or from any action or decision (or omission to act) resulting from use of this website or newsletter or any such information. Fab Ties shall not be liable, to the extent permitted by law, for any loss or damage including, in particular, any loss of profits, loss of business, loss of investment, loss of opportunity, wasted costs or any indirect or consequential loss. In addition, Fab Tie's products may be listed on other 3rd party sites not owned by Fab Ties, Fab Ties is not responsible for, and shall not be liable for, any out of date or inaccurate products that may appear on these sites.
Although descriptions and images of products are correct to our knowledge at the time of publication, the products may in some cases vary slightly from those shown on the site. Fab Ties cannot accept any responsibility for variations in shade or colour or other aspects of any images or photograph on the website that you may see on your screen, which may or may not be caused by differences in screen resolutions or other computer related settings. Some images may contain additional items such as shirts, waistcoats, tie or cravat pins, or other accessories which are not included with the product unless specifically stated. If you receive a product that is not what you were expecting, please follow our returns procedure to obtain an exchange or refund.
Fab Ties does not warrant or offer any assurance that the website is compatible with your computer equipment, software or the network through which you access the website, that the website is free of errors, or that the use of the website will not lead to viruses, Trojan horses, worms or similar destructive software accessing your computer equipment. Fab Ties shall not be liable for any damage which you may suffer as a result of such errors or viruses. You are responsible for ensuring that your computer equipment has appropriate security and virus protection features, for your own protection and to protect Fab Ties information technology systems and this website. This website may become unavailable in part or in whole at any time, for any period, and without prior notice. Given the inherent insecurity of the internet, the security, authenticity and confidentiality of any information on this website cannot be guaranteed.
